About Charge Happy

I’ve done a lot of road trips and learned early on that the journey is just as important as the destination. When I started making electric car content and later got my own EV, I leaned into slow travel.

This is where the idea of Charge Happy was born.

I wanted to create an EV travel guide to direct drivers to the charging locations that were more than just a place to plug in. Don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic motorway service stations with banks of chargers out there. They are convenient if you’re travelling for work or need a quick pitstop.

But they aren’t the only option.

Charge Happy is all about finding those chargers that offer something more. It might be better coffee, fewer people, a nearby activity, or a chance to explore off the beaten track.
